LABOR DAY SHOW
HOWDY
Hey there. Hope everyone had a fun (and safe!) Labor Day weekend!! It was hotter than blue blazes here in NC....And then I was told yesterday that I should never use that phrase ever again because it was quite possibly the most redneck thing anyone has ever heard. Haha. I guess it runs through and through...

My show yesterday was a lot of fun - met some great people (including the sweetest old lady who told me she has had my face in the window of her antique shop for a number of weeks now, and insisted I took my poster home because she said "my Mama would want it" haha...)

The band and I ate at this cute little mom & pop diner/icecream parlor in downtown Asheboro called "Scoops". I think I truly died and went to heaven because that was the most amaaaazing peach cobbler I have ever had in my life (sorry Mom!)

I then realized I have the most amazing family and friends on earth for driving an hour to sit in that intense heat in a lawn chair, or even better yet, on a blanket on the still soaked ground from the torrential rains we had last week (you guys are my heroes)

All in all, I had a great time. Be sure and check out the pics when you get a chance, and thanks to everyone who came out. Look for more dates to be posted soon.

I am now going to go pile calamine lotion over every inch of my mosquito-bitten legs ;)

JULY UPDATES
Hey loves! Everyone has been wondering what's going on in "the world of Cameron" lately (which is a very crazy world, may I add! haha...) so, I am going to do my best to brief you on what there is to look forward to in the upcoming weeks/months.

I am currently writing and finishing up recording all new material with my band (the most talented people on earth, you will come to learn!) that we will be releasing as an EP here sometime in the next month or so on itunes, etc. There will be ways for those of you without an itunes account or download capabilities to get the album also, so just keep a lookout for more details to come on this. I am hoping to have some of the new stuff up on my myspace player sometime soon, but like they say, sometimes this process is more like "slow business" than "show business"...haha :)

We are also currently in the process of rehearsing and booking shows, so be sure to subscribe here to my blog or mailing list on my page so that you can be the first to know when dates are posted.

I know that some of you've seen the new photos from the shoot I did with the amazingly talented Miss Babs Evangelista from Poetic Reality. My myspace look & layout are getting ready to get a complete upfit as well. You are about to see my true personality shine through :)

Also, my new website at www.cameronmarion.com will be up and running soon. It's being run by Ashley Melchert (such a great fan & friend!) and I will be a part of making sure you stay updated and "in the know"!
